The Assistance Center of Towson Churches (ACTC) is dedicated to providing essential emergency services for families and individuals in need throughout central Baltimore County, covering 19 zip codes. Our mission focuses on alleviating immediate hardships by offering a range of vital resources such as nonperishable food supplies for up to five days, fresh produce, and bagged lunches, alongside care bags specifically for the homeless. We extend our support through eviction prevention assistance, utilities and prescription aid, and clothing referrals. Additionally, we provide free ID and birth certificate replacement, mail pick-up services for those experiencing homelessness, shower passes, toiletries, and transportation to job interviews and medical appointments. While we currently operate with reduced capacity due to COVID-19, offering lunch and prepacked grocery bags biweekly, we are committed to safely reinstating full services to meet the diverse needs of our Towson community.
