MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Upper Marlboro, MD, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective obesity management and health promotion. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities annually for obesity, connecting them with tailored weight management services that cater to their unique needs. We offer a variety of options including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for in-home support, as well as the MOVE! Coach mobile app for those preferring a self-directed approach. For Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery.
