The Selma Schimmel Vital Grant is dedicated to providing essential support for individuals in Upper Marlboro, MD, who are grappling with significant financial challenges due to chronic, terminal, or rare illnesses, including cancer and Parkinson’s Disease. Our program offers critical utility assistance and grocery assistance to help alleviate the burdens of everyday living. We understand the urgency of these situations, which is why we focus on providing direct assistance with either utilities or groceries, depending on individual needs.
