The PNH Patient Travel Assistance Fund is dedicated to supporting individuals diagnosed with Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH) by offering financial assistance for travel expenses. Located in Waldorf, MD, we provide up to $800 per patient, annually, to facilitate visits to PNH specialists or to obtain crucial second opinions. Our assistance covers a range of essential costs, including airfare, train tickets, ground transportation, lodging, meals, and co-pays for medical visits or tests not covered by insurance. We believe that patients should not have to face travel barriers during their treatment journey, which is why we also allow grantees to travel with one companion, ensuring they receive the support they need while accessing specialized care.
