The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Cameron, MO, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This free program spans 12 months and provides valuable education on diabetes management in both English and Spanish. Participants will receive six informative e-booklets tailored to their needs, as well as a monthly e-newsletter packed with seasonal tips and resources. To foster community engagement, we share information about local events and enhance further learning through our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where enrollees can pose their diabetes-related questions to knowledgeable ADA experts. By joining us, participants can learn vital connections between diabetes and heart health while receiving helpful giveaways designed to aid their journey towards better health.
