At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Chillicothe, MO, we are dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system through the empowerment of passionate individuals. Our fellowship provides comprehensive training in organic food systems, allowing selected Fellows to engage in hands-on experiences on our farm and collaborate with dedicated community partners. By participating in this six-month residential program, Fellows learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, implement health-focused educational sessions, maintain community gardens, and advocate for food and ecological literacy in schools. We prioritize accessibility by ensuring that our program is tuition-free, and we encourage our Fellows to mentor future leaders as they complete a Community Action Year, working alongside local non-profits to increase access to healthy food.
