The OAKS Nutrition Program in Dexter, Missouri, is dedicated to providing essential nutritional support to seniors aged 60 and over, and their spouses, ensuring they have access to healthy meal options. Our Center Dining service offers daily lunch opportunities, with some centers hosting occasional evening meals, promoting social engagement and well-being among participants. For those unable to visit our centers, we provide Home Delivered Meals, catering specifically to individuals who face physical or mental challenges, or lack transportation. Our Distance Dining option extends this vital service to those over 63 who are Medicaid-eligible and live beyond the reach of a senior center. Each week, we deliver a 10-day supply of frozen meals directly to rural clients through Federal Express, ensuring they have nutritious meals readily available.
