The Community Connections Youth Project (CCYP) in Lee's Summit, MO, is dedicated to empowering older foster youth as they transition into adulthood. Understanding the unique challenges faced by this population, CCYP offers comprehensive navigational assistance and vital support services designed to equip young adults with the resources they need. Our program provides essential services, including food assistance through our onsite food pantry, clothing support, educational guidance, employment assistance such as resume writing and interview preparation, as well as help with obtaining a driver’s license and navigating legal issues. Additionally, we assist with HUD applications and connect youth to physical and mental health providers. At CCYP, we believe in fostering resilience and hope among youth as they step boldly into their futures.
