The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Rolla, MO, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. By sponsoring, training, and empowering passionate individuals, this fellowship offers a tuition-free experience designed to enhance accessibility. Throughout a transformative six-month experiential program at the Allegheny Farm, Fellows will gain hands-on education in organic food systems while engaging in initiatives such as growing diverse crops, running community gardens, facilitating health education sessions, and supporting farmers markets to ensure greater access to healthy foods. Following this immersive training, participants will embark on a Community Action Year, collaborating with local non-profits to champion food literacy and community engagement. Applications for this impactful journey are accepted until March annually, with the fellowship running from May to October.
