Located in Smithville, MO, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission focuses on regularly screening Veterans who receive care at VA facilities for obesity while connecting them to tailored weight management resources that align with their individual needs. We offer various services including supportive group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for those who prefer in-home assistance. Additionally, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to take charge of their weight journey independently. For those who require further assistance, including weight loss medications or bariatric surgery, we provide necessary referrals for continued support.
