The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Batesville, MS, is designed for individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, providing a supportive and educational environment free of charge. Over the course of 12 months, participants will receive six comprehensive e-booklets tailored to assist them in understanding diabetes management at their own pace. Our program offers a monthly e-newsletter with seasonal tips and local resources, available in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for everyone. Enrollees can also engage in our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can directly connect with ADA specialists, address their diabetes-related questions, and discover the relationship between diabetes and heart health. Participants who provide their phone number will receive additional incentives and giveaways to help them thrive on their journey to better health.
