In Carriere, MS, the Breastfeeding Support Group invites expectant, new, and experienced mothers to engage in valuable maternal discussions in a warm and accepting environment. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our meetings are a nurturing space where mothers can share experiences, exchange insights, and receive encouragement. We focus on four essential topics: the benefits of breastfeeding, bringing the baby home, overcoming challenges, and nutrition and weaning, ensuring that every mother feels informed and supported. While in-person gatherings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to assisting mothers through various alternative support options.
