Based in Carriere, MS, the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (PWSA) is dedicated to empowering individuals diagnosed with Prader-Willi syndrome, along with their families and caregivers, by providing essential resources and compassionate support. Our Family Support team offers vital information tailored to the needs of each family, helping them navigate the complexities following a diagnosis. We proudly provide services such as parent mentoring, nutritional education, meal planning, and behavior management guidance. Additionally, we assist families with the often challenging processes of applying for Medicaid, insurance coverage, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI).
