The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Clinton, MS, is dedicated to empowering individuals to advocate for a food system that upholds social, environmental, and economic justice. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this innovative program offers a six-month, experiential training at the Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year where fellows actively engage with local non-profit organizations. With a focus on organic food system education, fellows gain hands-on experience in growing and distributing diverse crops, maintaining community gardens, and implementing programs that enhance food literacy within schools.
