Located in Florence, MS, the Breastfeeding Support Group is dedicated to empowering mothers through shared experiences and vital information. Our meetings foster an inviting environment where expectant, new, and seasoned mothers can connect, support one another, and gain practical insights on breastfeeding. Led by La Leche League Leaders, we emphasize the importance of nutrition, problem-solving during breastfeeding challenges, and the transition of bringing baby home. We aim to nurture the bond between mother and child while addressing topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding and the journey of weaning. Although in-person meetings are currently on hold due to the pandemic, we encourage mothers to reach out to local leaders for support and alternative options to keep the community strong and informed.
