Located in Hattiesburg, MS, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran who seeks care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and directed to tailored weight management options that best suit their individual needs. MOVE! offers a variety of supportive services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE! for convenient in-home messaging and clinician contact. Veterans can also utilize the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-management or explore additional options such as weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who require further assistance. We invite Veterans interested in taking charge of their weight to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to embark on their journey toward healthier living.
