The Breastfeeding Support Group in Jackson, MS, is dedicated to empowering mothers through valuable connections and shared experiences. Our warm, welcoming meetings, led by La Leche League Leaders and fellow mothers, create a supportive environment for expectant, new, and seasoned mothers with their babies. We focus on four core topics, including the benefits of breastfeeding, bringing baby home, navigating challenges, and nutrition and weaning, ensuring that mothers receive comprehensive support and education. While in-person meetings are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage mothers to reach out to local leaders for alternative support options, as we believe that fostering community and sharing knowledge are essential for every mother’s journey.
