MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans in Laurel, MS, by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them to personalized weight management options that align with their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, convenient telephone lifestyle coaching, and our TeleMOVE! services that facilitate in-home support via messaging and clinician interactions. For those who prefer self-guided support, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available. Additionally, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
