The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Lucedale, MS, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become effective advocates for just, sustainable food systems. Through hands-on training and education, our Fellows engage in organic food system practices, including growing and distributing diversified crops, facilitating health education sessions, and managing community gardens. We are committed to promoting food justice and improving access to healthy foods by supporting farmers markets and developing distribution channels. Selected Fellows participate in an immersive six-month experience at our farm campus, followed by a year-long Community Action initiative where they apply their skills in collaboration with local non-profit organizations. Our Fellowship is tuition-free, ensuring that opportunities are accessible to all who share our vision of a socially, environmentally, and economically equitable food future. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October.
