Located in Morton, MS, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is dedicated to empowering cancer patients and their caregivers through free, personalized one-on-one nutrition consultations conducted over the phone. Our mission is to provide essential nutrition education tailored to each individual's needs, ensuring they have the strategies to enhance their dietary intake and manage treatment side effects. During these consultations, which last about 30 minutes, our registered dietitians share practical tips for meal planning and grocery shopping, as well as guidance on caring for loved ones undergoing cancer treatment. We also equip participants with insightful questions to discuss with their healthcare team and offer additional local and online resources to support their nutritional journey.
