About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in New Albany, MS, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of leaders in sustainable food systems. Our program trains and empowers participants to become advocates for a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. Through hands-on experiences at our Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in organic food system education and participate in a six-month immersive training program. They learn to grow and distribute diversified crops, create community gardens, and develop vital food literacy initiatives. Our mission is to increase access to healthy foods while supporting local farmers and communities through innovative partnerships. We proudly offer this Fellowship without tuition to enhance accessibility for all aspiring leaders. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running from May to October, ensuring that selected Fellows can make a meaningful impact in their communities.
