About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

Located in Olive Branch, MS, the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship is dedicated to transforming the food system into one that is just, sustainable, and equitable. This fellowship empowers individuals as teachers and advocates for organic food systems, providing comprehensive training without tuition fees to ensure accessibility. Participants engage in practical, hands-on learning at our Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain vital skills in growing diverse crops, implementing innovative health care education, and maintaining community gardens. Fellows also play a key role in promoting food and ecological literacy, enhancing farmers markets, and developing channels to increase access to healthy foods. Over the course of this six-month immersive experience followed by a year of community action, they collaborate with non-profit organizations to make a meaningful impact. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March, with the fellowship typically running from May to October, helping to reshape our food landscape for future generations.
