The Breastfeeding Support Group in Oxford, MS, is a nurturing space where expectant, new, and experienced mothers come together to share their breastfeeding journeys. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our meetings foster a warm and accepting atmosphere, allowing mothers to exchange experiences, offer suggestions, and provide mutual encouragement. Each gathering focuses on essential topics, including the benefits of breastfeeding, transitioning to life with a newborn, strategies to avoid challenges, and nutrition and weaning. Although our in-person meetings are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage mothers to reach out to local leaders for support and information on alternative ways to connect.
