The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, based in Oxford, MS, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system by sponsoring, training, and empowering passionate individuals to become teachers and advocates for food equity. Our program offers comprehensive organic food system education without any tuition fees, making it accessible to all aspiring Fellows. Participants engage in a transformative six-month residential experience at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, where they learn to cultivate diversified crops and implement innovative health-oriented educational sessions. The Fellowship extends beyond the farm, as selected individuals embark on a Community Action Year, working collaboratively with local non-profits to promote community gardens, support farmers' markets, and enhance access to healthy food options. Our goal is to equip Fellows with the necessary skills and knowledge to uplift their communities and nurture a resilient local food network.
