The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Pass Christian, MS, empowers individuals to become leaders and advocates for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic sustainability. This Fellowship offers a unique opportunity for selected participants to engage in comprehensive organic food system education and hands-on experiences at AMI's Allegheny Farm Campus. Through this program, Fellows learn to grow and distribute diversified crops on a market-style farm, maintain community gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy within schools. They also have the chance to support farmers markets, enhance access to healthy foods, and mentor future cohorts. Our mission is to create a network of passionate advocates dedicated to transforming regional food systems, and we are proud to offer this program at no tuition cost to ensure accessibility. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the program running annually from May to October, allowing Fellows to apply their skills during a Community Action Year in collaboration with local non-profit organizations.
