The Breastfeeding Support Group in Pearl, MS, is dedicated to empowering mothers through shared experiences, practical suggestions, and heartfelt encouragement. Our meetings, welcoming to expectant, new, and seasoned mothers, foster a warm environment where mother-to-mother connections thrive. Led by trained La Leche League Leaders, we focus on topics that include the benefits of breastfeeding, transitioning home with a newborn, overcoming challenges, and nutrition during breastfeeding. We also prioritize nutrition education to help mothers make informed choices for their families. Although in-person gatherings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, support remains available through local leaders and alternative meeting options. Together, we strive to create a nurturing space for mothers and their babies in our community.
