Located in Pearl, MS, Stewpot’s Food Pantry is dedicated to combating food insecurity by providing essential groceries to our neighbors in need, whether they reside in homes, hotels, encampments, or on the streets. Serving exclusively Hinds County, we strive to make a difference with the support of the community; anyone seeking food assistance is welcome, and while we request an ID and proof of residence, no one is turned away. We also offer 'travel bags' for those without cooking or refrigeration options and prioritize emergency assistance. To ensure we meet the needs of each individual effectively, appointments are scheduled, while generous donations from individuals, congregations, civic groups, and local businesses help keep our pantry well-stocked. Our partnerships with organizations like the Mississippi Food Network, Extra Table, Gleaners, and Hub for the Hungry enhance our service.
