MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Perkinston, MS, is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission focuses on screening every Veteran in our care annually for obesity and connecting them with tailored weight management services that align with their individual preferences and needs. We offer a variety of options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home messaging and clinician support. Veterans can also benefit from the MOVE! Coach mobile app for self-guided weight management, as well as access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for those who need additional support after participating in MOVE!
