At the Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Petal, MS, we are dedicated to fostering the next generation of leaders in food systems that prioritize social, environmental, and economic justice. Through our comprehensive program, we offer Fellows a tuition-free opportunity to engage in organic food system education, where they will gain hands-on experience in diversified farming, community gardening, and innovative health care education. Our initiative encourages active involvement in community food efforts, such as supporting farmers markets and creating distribution channels to increase access to healthy foods. Selected Fellows will embark on a transformative six-month residential learning experience at our Allegheny Farm Campus, followed by a Community Action Year, during which they will apply their knowledge in partnership with local non-profit organizations. We invite passionate individuals to apply by March each year, with our immersive program typically running from May to October.
