In Philadelphia, MS, the Breastfeeding Support Group offers a nurturing space for expectant, new, and experienced mothers to share their journeys in breastfeeding. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our meetings foster a warm environment where mothers connect, exchange experiences, and receive valuable suggestions and encouragement. With a focus on the benefits of breastfeeding, preparing to bring baby home, overcoming challenges, and nutrition education, our program empowers women to make informed choices for themselves and their families. While in-person meetings are currently paused due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage mothers to reach out to local leaders for support and alternative meeting options, ensuring that every mother feels welcomed and supported in their breastfeeding journey.
