MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Poplarville, MS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity, connecting them to tailored weight management services that meet individual needs and preferences. We offer a variety of care options, including engaging group sessions, personalized telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which allows for in-home messaging and support from clinicians. For those who prefer self-directed weight management, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, as well as options for weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues.
