The Breastfeeding Support Group in Purvis, MS, is dedicated to fostering a nurturing environment where mothers can connect, share experiences, and receive guidance on their breastfeeding journeys. Led by La Leche League Leaders and supported by peer mothers, our group offers vital resources in a welcoming atmosphere for expectant, new, and experienced mothers along with their babies. Through engaging meetings that focus on essential topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, managing the transition home, addressing common challenges, and nutrition and weaning, participants gain invaluable insights and encouragement. Even during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to supporting breastfeeding mothers through alternative options and are here to provide help and understanding every step of the way.
