In Ripley, MS, the Breastfeeding Support Group offers a welcoming environment for expectant and new mothers, as well as those with experience, to come together and share their breastfeeding journeys. Led by La Leche League Leaders, these gatherings focus on mutual support and encouragement, providing an opportunity for mother-to-mother connections in a friendly atmosphere. The meetings cover essential topics such as the benefits of breastfeeding, preparing for baby’s arrival, overcoming common challenges, and nutrition and weaning strategies. Although in-person meetings are temporarily suspended due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage mothers to reach out for support and learn about alternative ways to connect with our local leaders.
