The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Saucier, MS, empowers a new generation of advocates dedicated to fostering a food system that prioritizes social equity, environmental sustainability, and economic viability. As part of the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this Fellowship provides a comprehensive six-month experiential learning program, where selected Fellows engage in organic food system education, hands-on farming, and community-building initiatives. Participants have the exciting opportunity to work with local partners on diverse projects, including growing crops, maintaining community gardens, conducting educational health sessions, and supporting farmers markets.
