The Breastfeeding Support Group in Senatobia, MS, offers a warm and welcoming environment for expectant, new, and experienced mothers to gather and share their breastfeeding journeys. Led by La Leche League Leaders, our meetings foster mother-to-mother sharing, providing essential support and encouragement in a friendly atmosphere. We focus on vital topics, including the benefits of breastfeeding, transitioning baby home, addressing challenges, and nutrition and weaning. In addition to our support group, we emphasize nutrition education to empower mothers. While in-person meetings are currently suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local leaders are available to provide support and alternative meeting options for mothers seeking guidance.
