MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Sumrall, MS, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through effective weight management and health promotion strategies. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened annually for obesity and provided with tailored weight management services that best suit their individual needs. We offer a range of supportive care options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which provides in-home messaging and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a more independent approach, the MOVE! Coach mobile app is available, enabling Veterans to manage their weight on their own terms. Additionally, for Veterans facing ongoing challenges with weight-related issues, we provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery after exploring all MOVE! options.
