The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Tupelo, MS, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of leaders committed to a socially, environmentally, and economically just food system. Our program provides hands-on training and mentorship, empowering Fellows to advocate for sustainable agricultural practices and food equity. Fellows engage in organic food system education while gaining practical experience on diverse projects, including growing and distributing crops on market-style farms, facilitating health education sessions, maintaining community gardens, and promoting food literacy within schools. This six-month immersive experience culminates in a Community Action Year, where participants collaborate with local non-profit organizations to implement their training and increase access to healthy foods for all. We offer this transformative Fellowship at no tuition cost to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to join our mission of fostering a resilient and inclusive food system.
