This free program, available in both English and Spanish, empowers participants with essential knowledge and skills to manage their condition over a supportive 12-month journey. Enrollees will receive six informative e-booklets tailored to guide them step-by-step after their diagnosis, along with a monthly e-newsletter filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Additionally, participants who provide their phone number will gain access to our interactive monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A sessions, where they can pose their diabetes-related questions to American Diabetes Association experts, join discussions either online or via phone, and learn about the critical connections between diabetes and heart health, all while enjoying helpful giveaways aimed at enhancing their quality of life with diabetes.
