The Living with Type 2 Diabetes Program in Vancleave, MS, is dedicated to supporting individuals recently diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. This complimentary program empowers participants to understand and manage their condition over a structured 12-month journey. With resources available in both English and Spanish, we provide six comprehensive e-booklets tailored to various aspects of diabetes management, alongside monthly e-newsletters filled with seasonal tips and local community event information. Enrollees who provide their phone number also gain access to our monthly 'Ask the Experts' Q&A series, where they can engage with ADA experts about their diabetes-related questions, explore the connection between diabetes and heart health, and receive valuable giveaways designed to enhance their journey to wellness. We prioritize accessible, informative support for our community, ensuring no one navigates their diabetes journey alone.
