The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Wiggins, MS, is dedicated to empowering individuals to become effective advocates for a just and sustainable food system. Through our comprehensive program, we provide hands-on training in organic food systems, allowing selected Fellows to engage in meaningful projects that promote social, environmental, and economic equity in agriculture. Our fellowship is tuition-free, emphasizing accessibility and inclusiveness. Over six months at our experiential learning center, participants gain valuable skills in community gardening, crop distribution, and food education, while actively working with regional non-profits to foster healthier communities. From mentoring future Fellows to supporting local farmers' markets, our mission is to cultivate a network of leaders dedicated to improving food access and ecological literacy. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
