About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship
The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Anaconda, MT, empowers dedicated individuals to become advocates for a fair and sustainable food system. This unique program offers experiential learning for a six-month period at the picturesque Allegheny Farm Campus, where Fellows engage deeply with organic farming practices, ecological literacy, and community health initiatives. By collaborating with local partners, our Fellows help grow and distribute diversified crops, create educational health programs, maintain community gardens, and support farmers markets, all aimed at increasing access to healthy foods. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility to foster a diverse cohort committed to making a lasting impact. After their immersive training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their skills with regional nonprofit organizations to enhance food systems within their communities. Apply by March to join this transformative experience running from May to October each year.
