Located in Big Sky, MT, the Food Distribution organization is dedicated to providing essential emergency food assistance to residents in the Headwaters Area. Our mission is to ensure that individuals and families facing food insecurity receive the support they need, while treating all recipients with dignity and respect. We offer a variety of programs, including a 3 to 5-day emergency food supply, special holiday food assistance for Thanksgiving and Christmas, a Food Rescue and Recovery Program that redistributes surplus perishable items, and The BackPack Program, which provides supplemental food for children over weekends and school breaks. We invite those in need to visit us for food assistance every 30 days, reaffirming our commitment to making nutritious food accessible to all who seek help in our community.
