In the heart of Big Sky, MT, the Food Distribution mission is to provide essential emergency food assistance to residents in the Headwaters Area facing food insecurity, while upholding the dignity and integrity of each household. Through programs such as Emergency Food Assistance, which offers a 3 to 5-day supply of food, Holiday Food Assistance for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the Food Rescue and Recovery Program that collects and distributes perishable food items, we aim to alleviate hunger in our community. Additionally, our BackPack Program ensures that local youth have access to nutritious supplemental foods during weekends and school breaks. Food assistance is available every 30 days, because everyone deserves access to healthy food and a helping hand in times of need.
