The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Boulder, MT is dedicated to nurturing a new generation of leaders committed to creating a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just. This immersive program offers selected Fellows an opportunity to engage in comprehensive organic food system education without any tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all passionate participants. Over six months at AMI’s Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain hands-on experience in diversified crop production, educational initiatives in innovative health care, and the maintenance of community gardens. They also learn to integrate food and ecological literacy into educational settings, support local farmers markets, and develop efficient distribution channels to enhance access to healthy foods. After their initial training, Fellows spend a Community Action Year collaborating with local nonprofits, applying their knowledge to make impactful changes. Interested individuals should complete their applications by March, with the Fellowship experience running from May to October.
