The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bozeman, MT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators for a just food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic equity. This experiential program provides selected Fellows with comprehensive training at the Allegheny Farm, where they will gain hands-on education in organic farming and sustainable practices. Through the Fellowship, participants will engage in initiatives such as cultivating diversified crops, leading community educational sessions, maintaining gardens, and integrating food literacy into school curricula. Fellows also play a vital role in supporting local farmers' markets and enhancing access to healthy food options. Our commitment to accessibility means there is no tuition fee, ensuring that anyone passionate about transforming our food systems can apply. The Fellowship consists of a six-month residency followed by a Community Action Year, where graduates work alongside regional non-profits to implement their learning. Applications are accepted until March, with the program running from May to October.
