The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Bridger, MT, is dedicated to cultivating a new generation of advocates and educators committed to a food system that is just and sustainable. Through immersive training at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows engage in hands-on experiences focused on organic agriculture, food justice, and community empowerment. This program not only offers comprehensive education in food systems but also fosters partnerships with local non-profits to support initiatives like school gardens, farmers markets, and community food coalitions. By focusing on practical skills and community engagement, we strive to ensure that all individuals have access to healthy foods and educational resources. With no tuition fees, we promote accessibility and inclusivity in our Fellowship, allowing selected candidates to experience six months of transformative learning, followed by a Community Action Year dedicated to implementing their knowledge in real-world settings. Applications are open until March each year, with the Fellowship experience running from May to October.
