The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Clancy, MT, empowers individuals to become proactive advocates for a just and sustainable food system. This transformative program offers comprehensive organic food system education without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all passionate about making a difference. Our Fellows engage in hands-on experiences, working collaboratively on a market-style farm to grow and distribute diverse crops, develop community gardens, and lead innovative educational sessions that promote food and ecological literacy. Participants also gain invaluable experience by supporting local farmers markets and crafting distribution networks to enhance access to nutritious food. After an immersive six-month residency at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows enter a Community Action Year, putting their training to work alongside regional non-profit organizations. Applications are accepted until March each year, allowing the fellowship to take place from May to October.
