Over a transformative six-month residency, Fellows learn to grow and distribute diverse crops, conduct educational sessions in innovative healthcare, maintain community gardens, and integrate food literacy into local school programs. They also assist in developing distribution channels for healthy foods and supporting direct-to-consumer initiatives. The fellowship culminates in a Community Action Year where participants apply their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profits, further solidifying their role as advocates for improved food systems.
