The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Corvallis, MT is dedicated to fostering a sustainable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. This transformative program provides comprehensive training without tuition fees, ensuring accessibility for all aspiring advocates and educators. Selected Fellows engage in a six-month immersive experience at our farm, where they gain hands-on education in organic food systems and develop key skills to support community initiatives. Fellows work alongside local partners to grow diversified crops on market-style farms, implement innovative health care educational sessions, maintain gardens, and enhance food literacy in schools. Additionally, they promote farmers markets and direct-to-consumer efforts, improve distribution channels for healthy foods, and assist community coalitions. Following their training, participants embark on a Community Action Year, applying their newfound expertise in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations to make a lasting impact. Applications are accepted until March each year, with the fellowship experience running from May to October.
