About Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cut Bank, MT, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates for a just food system that honors social, environmental, and economic principles. This transformative program eliminates tuition costs to enhance accessibility, allowing selected Fellows to immerse themselves in organic agriculture education over a six-month period on our scenic farm campus. Throughout their journey, participants engage in hands-on learning while collaborating with community partners to develop diverse crop production, implement health-focused educational sessions, cultivate school and community gardens, and promote ecological literacy. Following their initial training, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, working with regional non-profits to expand access to emergency food programs, support farmers' markets, and strengthen community food coalitions. Applications are accepted until March each year for this impactful experience that runs from May to October.
